Python 3.6 + pip 24

pip 24.0 (January 2024) dropped support for Python 3.7 and below. Python 3.6 fails pip 24's `python_requires >= "3.8"` check at installation. Python 3.6 itself reached EOL in December 2018 — over 5 years ago. No current libraries support it.

Minimum version required: Python 3.8
